Gerald was our driver/guide and from the beginning. He knew the answer to every question we had, whether it had to do with gestation, type of animal, migratory or not, predator or prey, Gerald knew all of the answers. His knowledge and persistence were the reasons we were able to witness the leopard attack on the wildebeest as it happened. He knew where to find the cheetah mother with her cubs and the giraffe that had been killed the night before our departure from Masai Mara.

Cannot overemphasize to you how important Gerald was in making this a once in a lifetime trip for the three of us. Thanks, again, Gerald! Book Soin and ask for Gerald as your guide.

It is not the first time we travel with Soin Africa Safaris. Responsiveness, reliability, flexibility and good rates are some excellent reasons why we chose to travel with them once again. Another strong advantage of this company is that they work with some of the best professional guides in Africa.

This year, it was a tailor maide trip to Rwanda, including tourism and professionnal visit. Our guide was Kirenga Kamugisha, the chairman of the Rwanda safari guides association. He has impressive knowledge of his country, and not only about wildlife. He did everything to fulfill our needs and to make our trip enjoyable.

The gorilla trekkings were superb, but we also appreciated the visit of Kigali, the stay near Lake Kivu and most of all the kindness of Rwandan people. Rwanda is a green jewel and thanks to Kirenga and Soin Africa Safaris, we went back home with wonderful and exciting memories. Olivier & Briggit Delaere, Belgium (Rwanda safari March 2014)

Thanks so much for making our trip a huge success. There were no glitches and you obviously put many hours into planning the itinerary and working with us on our special requests. Silas and Jackson are excellent guides and the variety of camps provided wonderful experiences that we will remember forever. Mary Bowman-Kruhm, USA (June 2012)

Including Rwanda onto my trip to Kenya was a very rewarding experience. Since I have been to eastern Africa before, Rwanda provided a new and different experience. The culture and landscape, though similar to Kenya in many ways, is very unique. The people are exceptionally friendly and open, especially about their healing process concerning the 1994 genocide. I highly recommend trekking the mountain gorillas. It was wonderful being able to observe these creatures in their natural habitats from only a few feet away. I want to thank you for organizing the trip and providing this wonderful experience. Thanks so much: Rebecca McGonicle, USA (June 2012)

We arrived Lake Elementaita safely. We are now relaxing in front of a fireplace before dinner. It was such a pleasure to have you as our guide.  Thank you so much for everything.  It’s hard to express how much we loved our safari with you and can’t wait to go back to the Mara next May!  Please keep us posted how our beloved cats are doing.
